Job Description:
I am seeking a highly motivated and experienced Booking Agent to join our team and manage the career of renowned Latin jazz pianist Dánae Olano. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the jazz music industry, strong connections with venues, festivals, and promoters worldwide, and a passion for promoting diverse musical talent.
Key Responsibilities:

Artist Representation: Serve as the primary point of contact for Dánae Olano, representing her interests to promoters, venues, and festival organizers.

Booking and Scheduling: Secure performance opportunities at jazz festivals, concerts, and events globally, with a focus on Europe, North America, and the Caribbean.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, fees, and logistical arrangements to ensure favorable terms and smooth execution of performances.

Tour Planning: Develop and manage tour schedules, ensuring efficient routing and coordination with promoters and venues.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with industry professionals, including festival directors, venue managers, and media contacts.

Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies, including social media campaigns, press releases, and artist branding.

Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks related to bookings, including travel arrangements, accommodation, and rider requirements.

Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of bookings, including invoicing, payments, and budgeting.
Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a booking agent or in a similar role within the music industry, preferably with a focus on jazz.

Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the jazz music scene, including key festivals, venues, and industry contacts.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and represent the artist professionally.

Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Networking Ability: Proven ability to build and maintain a network of industry contacts.

Flexibility: Willingness to travel and attend events as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
